Exhibitions of Learning

Picture from above 2023 exhibbition

At the end of each semester, all students at New Urban High School participate in the Exhibition  Learning. This is an opportunity for students to share and celebrate what they have learned with friends, family, and community. It is an important part of the culmination of the semester, where students earn credit for more than just final exams. Exhibitions focus on academic and personal growth, allowing students to reflect on their academic accomplishments, identify areas of improvement, and celebrate the milestones along the way. At an exhibition, you may see:

  • Slideshows of final projects
  • Oral presentations
  • Student art
  • Displays of classwork
  • Portfolios of important classwork
  • Expository writing
  • Poetry
  • Student docents
  • Demonstrations of class activities
  • Interactive displays
