• Who can attend Twilight?
  • Senior status students who need 6 or less credits to graduate.
• Do I have to pay tuition?
  • No. Twilight is part of a public school; therefore, there is no tuition.
• How soon can my student get admitted?
  • Admissions are processed on a first-come-first-served basis, and depending on space within the appropriate program, may be able to attend orientation during the last Tuesday of the following months: September, October, November, January, February, and April.
• What kind of diploma will a student earn?
  • Students who meet graduation requirements in Twilight will earn an high school diploma from their boundary high school.  Twilight is a program rather than a school, so while students can earn their credits in Twilight, they receive a diploma from their home school.  For example, if you had been attending Putnam prior to coming to Twilight, you’ll earn a regular Putnam diploma; if you had been attending MHS…
• What is the curriculum?
  • Twilight uses Odysseyware, an online education program that offers a full array of curricular options.  Students will access the coursework at the school via computers.  Students can work at home or they may come in and work in the Twilight room in the evening.  A certified teacher is available onsite to supplement the coursework and assist with questions.   Twilight also offers optional in-person classes such as Creative Writing on Wednesday evenings.
• What classes do students take at Twilight?
  • Each student’s course of study will be determined based on credits completed and on graduation requirements still unmet. A complete course of study will be outlined with the student and counselor during the admissions process.
• Is transportation provided?
  • District transportation is not provided to Twilight. However, students needing transportation may be provided Tri-Met bus tickets.
  • There are two Tri-Met bus stops within walking distance of the New Urban campus.
• What are the school hours?
  •  4 – 7 PM Monday through Thursday.
