Finish 100% of the course, and you will receive a letter grade on your transcript.

  • If your average scores are 90% or more (and finish 100% of the class), you will earn an A.
  • If your average scores are 80-89% or more (and finish 100% of the class), you will earn a B.
  • If your average scores are 70-79% or more (and finish 100% of the class), you will earn a C.
  • If your average scores are 60-69%% or more (and finish 100% of the class), you will earn a PASS.

The following is confusing so just finish the entire class so you don’t need to even read the following.  The key is finishing 100% of the class because otherwise you will very likely not pass the class.  If you don’t finish the class by the end of the month,, all incomplete assignments are given a zero so that makes it nearly impossible to get a passing grade.  The only exception is if you have a high grade and finish almost all of the class.

  • If you finish 90% of the class and have an average of 90% or more, you will receive a B.
  • If you finish 90% of the class and have an average of 80% or more, you will receive a C.
  • If you finish 80% of the class and have an average of 90% or more, you will receive a C.
  • If your average grade is less than 80%, you need to finish 100% of the class to get a passing grade.
  • If you finish less than 80% of the class, you will not pass the class, even if you have a high grade.

Question: What should you do if the get to the bottom of a page and you have two options: Answer Questions or Move on?
Answer: Click Answer Questions.

Question: What should you do at the beginning of a section?
Answer: Write Objectives and Vocabulary in your notebook.  Try to understand the definitions to vocab words, but often the definitions are confusing in Odysseyware so if you don’t understand the definition, ask and Mr. Winch will explain the concepts. It’s so important to have an understanding of vocab, and it’s much better to have a fairly solid grasp on that understanding before you start the unit.
